Alternative chemical and fuel oil produced from plastic waste may play a key role in national sustainable development. The Korean government has promoted several recycling policies including to energy. Here, we focus on the investigation of facility characteristics pyrolysis. Four pyrolysis facilities, which had different processes various properties, were chosen order develop an advanced policy. Pyrolysis recovery efficiency influenced by feedstock conditions. In terms gases, gas quantity was due pyrolyzer operation conditions, but composition not especially distinguished. addition, air pollutants, such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur (SOx), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) process analyzed evaluate environmental effects surrounding area. pollutant concentration varied, those adequately controlled. From aforementioned results, improvements have been deduced manage product policy decisions.
